Since early April 2025, PTM Präzisionsteile GmbH in Meiningen has been expanding its machine park with a state-of-the-art laser marking system. With this addition, the company is further expanding its long-standing expertise in the field of laser marking. For many years now, PTM has been offering laser marking for precision parts manufactured in-house—including turned, milled, EDM-machined, and anodized components. With the new high-performance laser, markings can now be applied with even greater precision, higher contrast, and improved contour accuracy. At the same time, the new system allows for significantly greater flexibility in handling the wide variety of geometries found in the parts to be marked.
In addition to marking its own manufactured parts, PTM is now also offering the laser marking service as a standalone service—for example, for customers who wish to have their components or products marked externally. Whether serial numbers, logos, DataMatrix codes, or customized product markings—the new technology guarantees the highest precision, durability, and readability.
